Summary: GERMIN is a non-governmental organization, whose values and ideals are
based on the belief that the Albanian Diaspora should play a proactive and broad role
in the positive development of the Balkan states where Albanians live.
GERMIN organization opens a competition for field researchers, who have proven experience and
analytical skills. This position will have a commitment of 14 working days (05 September
2020 - 19 September 2020). The qualified candidates will interview the representatives of the businesses
identified in the Municipality of Vushtrri according to the sectors specified in this call.
The project "Invest in Vushtrri" is a joint investment forum between GERMIN and
the Municipality of Vushtrri which aims to generate income and new job opportunities
through new business initiatives and attracting investment from abroad for
large projects
in this municipality.
Duties and responsibilities: The field researcher will work directly on the activities
listed below during their engagement:
Identification of 15 businesses in the agricultural sector;
Identification of 15 businesses in the food processing and production sector;
Identification of 15 businesses in the wood processing sector
Identification of 15 businesses in the trade and services sector;
Completion of 60 semi-structured interviews / questionnaires with each business
identified in the selected sector.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
University degree in socio-economic sciences;
Excellent skills in writing and communication of Albanian language are necessary
(Knowledge of English language is an advantage);
Work experience as a Researcher, for at least 2 years.
